Key will not connect: use the backup key
Most of the time, “not connecting” comes down to the particular network you are on. For those cases Grusha gives you a second, spare key: it works through a different address.
How to get the backup key
- Open the mini app → “Key” tab
- Tap “Backup key” → “Copy”
- In Happ: “+” → “Add from clipboard”
- Switch to the new profile and tap “Connect”
Note. Keep both keys in the app and switch to whichever is faster right now.
If that does not work either
- Switch networks: Wi-Fi ↔ mobile data
- Turn on flight mode for 10 seconds, then turn it off
- Message support in the bot with your network type, region and a screenshot of the error
Frequently asked questions
- Is the backup key slower?
- Usually not, but it depends on the network. It is a spare address — use whichever is faster at the moment.
